How to Seal a Marble Sink India: Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Protecting Natural Stone

Stone sealer: Lithofin WX Protector, Aqua Mix Sealer’s Choice, or Tenax Ager (available at Croma, Amazon India)
Tools: Soft cloth or sponge applicator, dry microfibre towel
Time: 30 minutes | Frequency: Once before installation, then annually

Step 1: Clean the sink surface with pH-neutral cleaner. Rinse thoroughly. Wait 20 minutes to dry completely.
Step 2: Apply sealer generously with soft cloth, working in circular motion. Cover entire surface.
Step 3: Wait 15-20 minutes. Surface should look wet/damp.
Step 4: Wipe off excess sealer with clean dry microfibre. Buff gently.
Step 5: Wait 24 hours before using the sink. Do not get wet during curing.
Step 6: Water test: Place a few drops on surface. If they bead up, sealer is working. If absorbed, re-apply.
